You’ll also experience the beauty of Abu Simbel, one of Egypt’s most awe-inspiring temples, as part of your journey.

Day 01 Arrival in Cairo – Pyramids & Sphinx

Arrival & Hotel Transfer
Welcome to Egypt! Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, our team will transfer you to your hotel. After settling in, you’ll embark on a guided tour to the iconic Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx. Stand in awe of these ancient wonders as your Egyptologist guide provides insights into their incredible history and significance. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner, getting to know your group and your guide.

Day 2 Explore Fayoum Oasis & Wadi El-Hitan (Valley of the Whales)

Journey to Fayoum
After breakfast, leave Cairo behind and head toward the beautiful Fayoum Oasis, an area known for its lush greenery, lakes, and rich history. Your first stop will be Lake Qarun, Egypt’s third-largest lake, where you can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding desert and wildlife.

Wadi El-Hitan (Valley of the Whales)
Continue your adventure to Wadi El-Hitan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Egypt’s most unique locations. This remote desert area is famous for its fossilized whale skeletons, dating back over 40 million years. As you walk among the ancient fossils, your guide will explain the fascinating prehistoric history of the area, when this desert was once a vast ocean.
After exploring the site, enjoy a traditional Egyptian lunch in the oasis before returning to Fayoum.

Camping Under the Stars
In the evening, set up camp in the Fayoum Desert. Gather around a campfire and enjoy a Bedouin-style dinner, sharing stories and stargazing under the clear desert sky.

Day 3 Fayoum – Waterfalls of Wadi El-Rayan & Pottery Village
  • Wadi El-Rayan Waterfalls
    Start your day with a visit to the stunning Wadi El-Rayan Waterfalls, Egypt’s largest waterfalls, located in the heart of the desert. These cascading falls are surrounded by tranquil lakes and desert dunes, creating a perfect spot for photos and peaceful reflection. You can take a short walk along the water or relax by the lakeside.
  • Visit Tunis Village (Fayoum’s Pottery Hub)
    Next, head to Tunis Village, a charming artist village famous for its pottery workshops. Here, you’ll meet local artisans, visit their studios, and even have the opportunity to try your hand at pottery-making. It’s a beautiful experience where art meets nature, surrounded by palm groves and overlooking Lake Qarun.
  • Return to Cairo
    After a full day of exploration, return to Cairo for an overnight stay. Enjoy dinner at your hotel or a local restaurant and prepare for the next leg of your adventure.
Day 4 Eastern Desert Safari – Ancient Quarries & Bedouin Experience

Eastern Desert Safari
After an early breakfast, head into Egypt’s Eastern Desert for a full day of adventure. Your 4x4 vehicle will take you deep into the desert, where you’ll visit the ancient quarries of Mons Claudianus, once used by the Romans to source stone for their monumental buildings. Explore the ruins of the ancient quarry and learn about the desert’s rich geological history.

Hiking & Camel Ride
After visiting the quarries, embark on a short hike through the rugged desert landscape, or take an optional camel ride, experiencing the traditional mode of desert transportation. Your guide will lead you to panoramic viewpoints, where you can take in the vastness of the Eastern Desert.

Bedouin Camp & Dinner
In the evening, arrive at a traditional Bedouin camp where you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner prepared over an open fire. Afterward, sit around the campfire, listen to Bedouin stories, and gaze up at the stars before settling in for a peaceful night under the desert sky.

Day 5 Red Sea – Quad Biking & Bedouin Village Tour

Travel to the Red Sea (Hurghada)
After breakfast at the Bedouin camp, travel to the beautiful Red Sea town of Hurghada, famous for its crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life. Upon arrival, check into your seaside hotel and relax for a bit before the afternoon activities.

Quad Biking in the Desert
In the afternoon, embark on an exhilarating quad biking adventure through the surrounding desert. As you ride over dunes and rocky landscapes, feel the thrill of speeding across the desert with the Red Sea as your backdrop. Make stops for photos and to enjoy the view.

Visit to Bedouin Village
After your quad biking session, visit a local Bedouin village, where you’ll be welcomed with tea and traditional hospitality. Learn about Bedouin customs, lifestyle, and how they’ve adapted to the harsh desert environment. You can also enjoy a short camel ride around the village.

Day 6 : Red Sea Snorkeling & Free Time

Snorkeling in the Red Sea
Head out on a boat trip to explore the stunning coral reefs of the Red Sea, considered some of the best in the world. You’ll stop at several snorkeling spots where you can swim among vibrant coral gardens, colorful fish, and perhaps even sea turtles and dolphins. A fresh seafood lunch will be served on board while you cruise along the coast.

Free Time in Hurghada
After your snorkeling adventure, the rest of the day is yours to relax by the beach, explore the local markets, or try out more water sports. You can also visit the marina, which is lively in the evenings with restaurants and cafés.

Day 7 Departure from Cairo

Return to Cairo & Departure
After breakfast in Hurghada, you’ll return to Cairo for your departure. Depending on your flight schedule, you can enjoy some last-minute shopping or sightseeing in Cairo before heading to the airport, bringing your Desert & Red Sea Adventure to a close.

Day 8 Abu Simbel Day Trip

Abu Simbel Temples
Take an early morning trip to the Abu Simbel Temples, two massive rock temples built by Ramses II. These UNESCO World Heritage Sites are famous for their colossal statues and impressive relocation due to the rising waters of Lake Nasser. Return to Aswan by the afternoon.

Day 9 Fly Back to Cairo – Old Cairo Tour

Old Cairo Tour
Fly back to Cairo and spend your last day exploring Old Cairo. Visit the Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue, and the Coptic Museum. Spend your evening wandering through the lively Khan El Khalili Bazaar, where you can pick up souvenirs and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.

Day 10 Departure

Departure
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Cairo International Airport for your departure, marking the end of your 10-day Egypt Immersion Tour.
