Departure from Siwa City Center

• Your journey begins in the early evening with a pick-up from Siwa City Center. After meeting your guide and fellow stargazers, you’ll be driven to the remote Al Maraqi area, known for its dark, clear skies, ideal for observing the stars. During the drive, your guide will provide information about the region and set the stage for the stargazing experience.

Arrival at Al Maraqi and Setting Up

• Upon arrival at Al Maraqi, you’ll settle around a campfire as the stars begin to emerge. The remote location, far from city lights, offers unparalleled visibility, allowing you to see constellations and celestial bodies that are rarely visible in urban environments.

Stargazing or Moonlit Experience

• Once the sky is fully dark, your guide will lead the stargazing session. Depending on the moon cycle, you’ll either enjoy a full stargazing experience or a moonlit night. Your guide will point out key constellations, planets, and other celestial objects, sharing stories and legends about the night sky.

Traditional Dinner Around the Campfire

• As you continue to enjoy the night sky, a traditional Siwan dinner will be served around the campfire. The meal includes local dishes prepared with fresh ingredients, offering a taste of Siwa’s unique cuisine. This is a time to relax, share stories, and enjoy the peacefulness of the desert night.

• After a night of stargazing and a satisfying meal, you’ll be driven back to Siwa City Center. As you travel, you can continue to marvel at the stars or simply relax after the tranquil experience.
• Drop-off at City Center: The tour concludes with a return to your starting point, where you’ll part ways with your guide and fellow participants, carrying the magic of the night sky with you.
